Intercultural competency is a practical set of attitudes, knowledge, and skills that allow people to interact effectively with those from different cultural backgrounds.

We have delivered intercultural competency training in person and online to organizations across Northern Ontario since 2015 — and we bring Sean's own first-hand experience as an immigrant from Scotland to every session.
Courses We Offer
Fundamentals of Intercultural Competency
An introductory course covering the core concepts of intercultural competency — culture, bias, stereotypes, equity, diversity, inclusion, and best practices. Ideal as a starting point for individuals and organizations. Available in person, remotely, or as an online module. Online module: $150 per person.
Power Dynamics and Systemic Discrimination
An important course covering key topics in the Canadian workplace context — myths around immigration, hiring and behavioural interviewing, promotion, and the experiences of women, immigrants, and other groups in workplace settings. Available in person or remotely. Contact us to book.
Effective Intercultural Communication and Best Practices
Building on the Fundamentals course, this session focuses specifically on communication — introducing participants to culturally informed communication styles and practical tools for more effective cross-cultural interaction. Available in person, remotely, or as an online module. Online module: $150 per person.
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for Non-Profit Boards and Leaders
Specially designed for board members and organizational leaders, this course introduces EDI principles and practical strategies for embedding them into governance, organizational culture, policies, and practices. Available in person or remotely. Contact us to book.
